Spencer L. Peters, CPA, CGMA – MANAGING PARTNER
Spencer is a San Diego native and a graduate of San Diego State University’s School of Business. He has been practicing in public accounting for over 25 years. He holds both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) license. He has a strong emphasis in small, entrepreneurial and manufacturing businesses and real estate consulting services. Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years and friend of 30 years. He is the proud father of Grant (20) and Lexie (18). Spencer is an active member with the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA) and the California Society of CPA’s (CalCPA).
Diane Cook – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Diane joined the Legacy Tax team with over 35 years of industry experience. She has experience in the construction, legal and CPA arenas. Diane works closely with our clients to help with their accounting needs. She is well versed in QuickBooks and other accounting software. Diane helps our corporate and partnership clients to maintain accurate accounting records to ensure maximum tax results. She enjoys traveling and photography with her husband and adult children and grandchildren.
Stephanie A. Sobieck – PROJECT ACCOUNTANT/OFFICE MGR.
Stephanie joined the Legacy tax team with over 25 years experience in the finance and financial services arena. Stephanie is the lead of the firm for individual tax preparation. Stephanie is also the office manager for the firm. Stephanie works closely with our individual tax clients to optimize tax deductions and minimize tax liabilities.
